12 Point Buck

12 Point Buck was a collaborative duo comprised of Lethbridge-based artist Leila Armstrong and B.C.-based artist Chai Duncan. In the fall of 2007, Armstrong and Duncan became aware of a mutual interest in exploring representations of nature as artifice. Subsequently, 12 Point Buck began incorporating mass-produced and folk representations of  nature into their work. These included toy replicas, statuary, decorations, scale models, and thrift store landscapes. The pair also held Wildlife Sketch Club events in their installations.
